2. Sleeping in the vineyard
Since 2019, the county of the Penedès has had a network of 12 RV campgrounds that are totally equipped with picnic areas, water hook-up, and waste disposal. On the Turisme Penedès website you can find out about the RV areas promoted by the consortium and other private spaces with amazing views. The Penedès also has a complete offer of country estates with lodging that will make your experience unforgettable. If you want a quiet time, try some original options for glamping in the Penedès, such as sleeping in a vineyard hut or in a tent in the middle of the forest.
3. Find out about the history of wine in Catalonia
Did you know that people have been making wine in the Penedès for over 2700 years? A few kilometres from the winery, you will find the Font de la Canya Interpretation Centre, where you can discover the history of Catalan winemaking. The hundreds of burnt and fossilized grape seeds recovered in recent archaeological excavations represent the most important and the oldest finds related to winemaking documented to date in our country.

4. Doing sport in the vineyards
Whether on foot or by bicycle, in the Penedès we have many paths, routes, and activities for sports lovers. At Albet i Noya we have a route for hiking through the vineyards, such as the route to El Fanio on your own, or the route by electric bicycle that comes with a visit to the winery. On 19th August, we will also do a Nordic Walking excursion to see the Albet i Noya estates. It is a 10 km route to contemplate the sunset from one of the most beautiful spots in the Penedès.
From the Subirats town hall, they propose Pedala&Tasta (Pedal and Taste) and a complete programme of routes through vineyards and wineries. And if you love bicycles and excitement, you must not miss the Penedès360 proposal.

On 4th September, the wineries of the Penedès have set a date for a picnic in the vineyards. At Albet i Noya we propose 8 places on our estate where you can enjoy nature and the Penedès during one of the loveliest times of the year. In each of these spaces, you will be alone with your group of friends and family, and you will be able to enjoy Albet i Noya wines and a complete selection of local products. (Cold cuts from Ca l'Estevet, cheeses from Xerigots, Escalfet biscotti, Valliser quince preserves, and other surprises!).
