Winemaking

Manual harvest and selection. Cold fermentation and maceration for 6-8 days, followed by aging in second and third-year French oak barrels for 12 months. Cold stabilization and light filtration before bottling.

Ruby color and medium body. Aroma of vanilla, typical Garnacha balsamic notes, fine cocoa, and ripe fruit. On the palate, it has good structure, full-bodied, mature tannins, and balsamic hints.

Food pairing

Ideal with "Coca de Recapte", a traditional Catalan flatbread with roasted vegetables, sausage, and grilled sardines.

Very attractive black-licorice nose with hints of chocolate and cherry liqueur. Lively fruit and a nice tannin structure that makes this moderately dry on the palate, the finish energetic and quite polished. Drink or hold.
