Late harvest with meticulous hand selection berry by berry and slow, delicate pressing in a vertical press. Aged afterwards in old 225-litre barrels followed by a final bottle ageing.
Deep golden colour with amber reflections. On the nose, it reveals aromas of candied citrus peel, honey, chamomile and dried fruits, with delicate spicy notes. On the palate it is luscious and silky, with good volume and a vibrant acidity that balances the sweetness and extends the finish with freshness and elegance.
An ideal wine for contrasting pairings with blue cheeses, aged cheeses or foie gras, and also perfect to round off a meal with desserts, nuts and good conversation.
Les Mil i Una is born from one of the most unique phenomena in viticulture: noble botrytis. Crafted from a meticulous hand selection of overripe grapes picked berry by berry. 1001 varieties, white and red, from Can Milà de la Roca estate. A limited-edition sweet wine (1,000 half bottles) that captures the singularity and magic of an unrepeatable harvest.
