El Bosc Negre

El Bosc Negre

Grapes hand-harvested and individually selected on a sorting table. Fermentation and maceration with the skins for 15 days. Aged for 9 months in French oak barrels. The wine has fermented with indigenous yeasts and has not been clarified or filtered to preserve its purity.

Tasting note

It displays an intense golden color with a glyceric layer. This white wine offers intense aromas of orange peel, honey, and Mediterranean medicinal herbs. On the palate, it is very voluminous and long, with a characteristic bitter finish of the grape variety.

Food pairing

Ideal to pair with a roast shoulder of lamb and confit potatoes. It also pairs well with strong raw milk cheeses, such as fermier.

El Bosc Negre is a vineyard with small dry stone terraces located in the Ordal Mountains. It is our highest vineyard, situated at an altitude of 400 meters, and was planted in 1962. Its boomerang shape provides the vines with a double and interesting sun exposure, allowing the production of a rich and balanced wine. Some of the terraces face east, toward the Port of Ordal, while the other part faces west, overlooking the Penedès plain.
